Alright, so today we finished off our DJ stand project. I drilled holes on the steel strip that would be placed under the mixer and also drilled holes in the base as well. Then Jeff ground and ground the holes. I also felt that the stand was a bit tall, so I sawed off a couple inches off the bottom and filed it nice and smooth. Then we spray painted the base black and left it to dry. Also look at the beautiful final product having fun amongst orange balls.

The stand does wobble a bit if handled violently, but not too much. Given that most of the "violent" actions will take place on my turntables placed on the table this is perfectly acceptable. I can't wait till I get my FinalScratch setup and get to put my laptop on this stand!!!
