I think the easiest way to offend a DJ is to tell him/her what tracks to play. Man, half the fun rocking a party is choosing my own tracks and going with the flow of the night trying this, trying that, moving the crowd. If you come at me and say shit like "Play that new Booty Crap by J-Lo", then you have been silently thrown into my "I ain't listening to you no more" bucket. For mainstream Top 40 DJs, I guess they're used to matching the crowd's taste, but for underground DJs, the crowd follows the DJ around... they travel to arenas where the DJ spins. I'm not interested in playing Top 40 stuff... Hell, I might throw some in if I feel like it, but I have my own style of mixing and track selection. That's what makes the DJ that I am. If you don't like it, then that's just too bad.
