I'm on my 3rd semester already! It's pretty crazy... These 3 months intense courses are really starting to take a toll on me. Harmonic Ear Training I was very hard. Not hard theoretically, but just the fact that we're trying to train our ears to do so much in such a short amount of time... It was quite a challenge for me. I think I'm going to have to somehow try and repeat the course one more time on my own to really get it down solid. Future of Music Business got much better as I got to interact with Gerd. We got to talk one on one on many of the issues related to the current and future music industry. It's a fascinating subject for those interested in doing any business with music in this highly contraversial times. I now have a much better understanding of what I'd like to focus on in my independent studies thesis, and that's a great relief! ;)

So this semester I'm taking Arranging I and Mixing and Mastering in Pro Tools. The only minor issue I ran into is that I'm not wealthy enough to buy Pro Tools, so I'm going to have to use the school's recording studio from time to time to do my coursework. That's gonna be pretty tough having to work on the school studio's schedule, but hey... I ain't got no money, and I ain't complaining... ;) These two courses are already very very fascinating right from the very first lesson!!! This semester's gonna be so much fun!!!! ^0^
